Does what it’s supposed to, but cheaply built This was a recommended accessory for a DR mike stand I bought and for under $10 I figured ‘what the hell’. It does fit on the mike stand, and once I got it tightened down (bit of a chore!) it does hold a set of Audio Technica headphones.Thing is, the pressure swivel and the tighten-down knob are made of cheap plastic, and the threads the rod tighten against are tapped in basically a piece of 1/8″ mild steel. A RECORDING STUDIO PROBLEM SOLVER It arrived in what appeared to be perfectly new condition in its own original box. Inside the box which showed no signs of impact damage was a ziplock bag with the product inside. I began installing it and as I unscrewed the mounting screw, the rubber/plastic anchor wasn’t even attached to the bolt. In fact, it appeared to be glued to the mounting rail. It came off the bolt, staying comnected to the rail. However, ignoring this, I placed it back in position and tightened the bolt. So if you…
