Quality instrument with great tone.

SMH 🤦‍♂️ Terrible Packaging and Quality Control 🤦‍♂️ Terrible packaging with a foot long rip on top of the cardboard box in the middle which was then retaped, the guitar box was not even put into a second shipping box. It really upsets me to receive a foam windscreen for microphones which cost less than $3.00 to be double boxed in a box the size of a boot 👢 box and stuffed with paper and then, here receiving something fragile like this guitar in its own packaging just shipped out with out better protection.So… I called Amazon to…

I would highly recommend this no-nonsense bass for anyone looking to start out … I have been playing this bass for several months now, and although I am relatively amateur at the instrument, I have been very impressed with the quality of the sound and the craftsmanship. The body of the bass is nothing fancy, but that is expected given the very reasonable price. The electronics seem top notch (which makes sense given Yamaha’s reputation). Overall, I would highly recommend this no-nonsense bass for anyone looking to start out playing bass without spending your retirement…
