I use my DTX400K to drive Superior Drummer 2 I just received this in the mail today. Following the instructions in the manual for my DTX400K, this snare integrated perfectly with my kit and worked right from the start. Disappointed in the capability I bought this as an upgrade to the DTX400K electronic drum kit. It is said to have 3 zones, but realistically, only 2 work there.The regular snare sounds the same as expected, the cross stick is moderately functional but you have to make sure your fingers don’t touch the middle zone.The rim shot doesn’t function the way as advertised.For a $100 product, I was expecting a bit more.
