A Decent Buy for the Price THIS IS A DECENT HEADPHONE FOR THE PRICE. In fact, the quality was so good that I initially thought they weren’t working because after I plugged it into my Yamaha DGX-660 and started playing it, I thought the sound was still coming straight from the piano itself until I took the headset off momentarily, played some notes and realized it was actually coming from the headphones. They’re okay… I really wanted to like these. I am a fan of Yamaha gear, and expected these to be a great, inexpensive option for listening to audio training at work without disturbing others around me. They don’t suck, but they have a strange EQ curve. The lows sound boxy, and there is a strange low mid hump. The highs are nice- not at all harsh, and the over all sound is balanced- they just sound funny.I think they might be best suited for voice reproduction. MHO. Not the best choice for music…
