the frame itself is sturdy enough. It’s heavy duty and easy to put … It’s not a Yamaha. It’s a cheap no-name Chinese stand. I was going to return it because isn’t that basically bait and switch? But I decided to give it a try anyway. That being said, the frame itself is sturdy enough. It’s heavy duty and easy to put together. The “missing” screws that the other reviews talk about aren’t missing. They are screwed in to the bottom of the legs. It has 5 adjustable positions that are easy to change when the keyboard isn’t on the stand, but the lowest one…
Not bad, but wobbly. Also, NOT a Yamaha brand product. NOT an actual Yamaha brand name product. On the box, it says “for Yamaha and other keyboards.” Not too hard to put together, but a bit odd. Some of the screws are screwed in upside down into the bars. Weird. This stand is decently durable at least.This is a good enough stand, as long as you don’t mind it being very wobbly. Having the stand be double-braced will allow you to put a heavier keyboard on top of it than a single-braced stand, but the double bracing does not help…
No directions, not as advertised. I’m really disappointed. No directions to put this together – so trial and error we finally figured it out. What I received is not like what is advertised. The top rungs that the keyboard sits on only has one rubber bumper not two, and the one that is on the rung is not at the end of the rung, rather about 3 inches in from the end. It makes no sense and makes the keyboard sit funny. It feels like the keyboard will slip off the stand. Should I send it back, ask for another one and hope it…
