The sustain pedal does not work. It does the … The sustain pedal does not work. It does the opposite of what it supposed to do. When you don’t press it the sound is sustained, but then when you press it the sound got cut off.Also, cannot register the product. Yamaha doesn’t seem to have an option of P-71.UPDATE ON SUSTAIN PEDAL.I found that a number of people have this same problem.
