A familiar departure from the Motif I have the Motif XF and was skeptical that the sounds would be all that much different. There are sounds here that are directly taken from the Motif and for the most part they are VERY similar in sound, i.e. the sound difference is not that dramatic. However, it’s the new sounds and more importantly, the control and modulation that really takes this unit over the top. It is not a workstation and for that I am not selling my Motif.
