Excellent drum mic solution with minor limitations
I used the Yamaha EAD 10 system last night on a cover band bar gig.Overall, I am very impressed! It sounds very natural, and supplementing the bass drum with a subtle sample is very effective and there’s a lot of headroom. The reverb I used was natural and open sounding. Nice.As I expected, there’s a bit of a lack of control over the balance between instruments. The rack toms come through loud and clear (and actually sound great!).
