Beware, not as advertised! I purchased this padded gig bag specifically because of the advertisement claim that it had “high density 20mm padding on all sides”. When I picked up the box I thought it felt very light when compared to my CMC gig bag, and the box was actually smaller as well. After removing the bag and inspecting it, I was sadly disappointed with the material on the inside of the bag. Stiff and abrasive with very little padding. Great gig bag on the cheap! This is a great gig bag overall. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s functional protection and should handle normal use. The 20 mm padding feels pretty substantial. It lacks a neck support velcro strap inside, but I don’t see that as a deal breaker. I found that while my Ibanez SRF705 fretless bass fits quite loosely with room to spare, my P-bass sized LTD Vintage 214FL fits perfectly.
