Sent the first one back. The replacement is a keeper. Not sure here if I should rate the product itself or the overall purchase experience. Let me say that when the guitar arrived the shipping box was intact, but inside the product box had a hole in it which extended into the guitar case which was torn. The guitar itself did not seem to be damaged from this issue however there were scrapes on the front of the guitar and many “shavings” of either wood or plastic scattered around in the case. Perfect… for a purpose. I love this little guitar! I’ve gone through a handful of 3/4-size guitars and ukuleles looking for something that is compact enough to take hiking or on a kayak but still plays like a ‘real’ guitar. Even in it’s hard case it light and compact. Superior to the Martin Backpacker. A wonderful travel guitar. I think this guitar is really great. I was looking for a small guitar to take on vacations with me, and this one proved to be absolutely perfect. The sound is, obviously, not as rich as on a full dreadnought-sized guitar, but it is surprisingly nice, especially when you put some Martin Silk & Steel strings on it.
