VOX V9106 10W Pathfinder Combo

Great first amp. Or 2nd. Or 3rd. Or 4th. Or…… I usually don’t write reviews. Maybe once or twice I have, sometimes out of obligation when Amazon reminds me to do so. But I feel compelled to write a review about this little amp. It’s small, yes. And usually, great amps aren’t. There are some really crappy big amps too, that are just big for the sake of being huge because some people think that’s cool (I am one of them, sorta). But this amp is great, and it’s small at the same time…which makes it the greatest, because you can grab it…

One of my most satisfying purchases ever. I’m a household musician. I don’t gig, I don’t play in a band, and I don’t record very often. Usually, I’m picking my acoustic on my porch. Best of the Catagory I’ve never been impressed with the little “lunch box” practice amps. I’ve played through, or have friends that have, many of the main line ones you find: Fender, Marshall, Orange, Peavy, Crate…etc….you know, the $59 – $99 practice amps. I needed a little amp for the living room to use while I’m just sitting there, noodling around and watching TV….not focused practice. I also wanted something I could carry to friends house or when traveling….so I took a chance on this little Vox…
