Not to my liking I bought this for old school Wah (Hendrix/Clapton) .I tested it on a Tele and Strat. I did not test it with my SG. When I was young I bought the original Thomas Organ version Clyde. I also now have a Dunlop Crybaby GCB-95 too from many years ago. The Vox Wah sound is very good, making a very good Wah Wah sound. Its range seems less. Also compared to the Dunlop it sounds weak, thin, and harsh but more vocal. I AB’d it and I just can’t use this Wah because it sounds so thin as if some one…
Okay – Better Options IMHO This wah doesnât have useful zones for the entire sweep IMHO. You can over-sweep and wind up too far at the heel bottom where youâre moving the pedal still but the tone is too muted and no longer being shaped in a desirable manner. The only people I know who like these are used to that and/or like that. Other wahs are much more forgiving and I think sound better – e.g., 535Q, the discontinued Ernie Ball Wah, Morley MT Power Wah, pretty much most other ones. I know you can get good at using…
