VOX PB10 Bass Combo Amplifier
For the bassist, VOX introduces the newest member of the Pathfinder family, the Bass 10. This dual-speaker, deep-thumping, portable amp is ideal for the on-the-go bass player. In addition to Treble and Bass tone-shaping controls, the Bright switch offers an edgy boost to the upper harmonics. Turning up the Drive control provides a warm, bass distortion that adds character and vitality to the tone. The Pathfinder Bass 10 pumps out 10 Watts into a pair of 5-Inch VOX bulldog speakers. A headphone/line output jack is also provided for silent practice, and for recording.

Good sounding, nicely sized little bass amp for the money. Nice little amp that fits performance, price and size gap between the lousy micro amps and more expensive small amps. Full and loud enough sound to make practicing on your own pleasing. The thin cabinet depth means it tucks nicely in front of a wall or under a desk. Of course has that nice vintage look and vinyl style covering looks and feels nice. I would stop short of saying this would be a good bass amp for practicing with acoustic guitarists though. Amazing Little Bass Amp! 3-28-18 This is a good amp , and sounds very nice at low volumes . it can get loud and handles the G – D – A – strings very well , but the big E string sounds like you have the distortion turned up . i took out a speaker , and it is only 4 1/4 ” ! ! not even close to 5 ” . the metal outside edges and mounting holes all together only measured 4 5/8 ! I feel cheated . I had a good 6 ” bass speaker laying around so put it in with the other 4 1/4 speaker and now it…
This little amp is amazing. As a bass player we were always led to believe we needed some big 15 inch woofer minimum in a giant cabinet to produce great sound. This little VOX is the size of a sneaker box (a little bigger but close) and pumps out clean undistorted bass. Hey it will not replace a big amp for a gig in a bigger venue.
