Unbelievable sound from this tiny amp I purchased this amp about two weeks ago because of the great reviews and the portability it offers. I’ve been playing tube and hybrid amps for the past 45 years and accepted that a battery powered compact amp was going to be a huge tonal sacrifice. This amp has exceeded my expectations for sound and quality. I play a Tele deluxe through it and achieve a fantastic range of tones. I get the great dig, ring and plink of a Telecaster and with the over-driven amp options can get seriously cool rock…
Happy to be the first reviewer. I recently purchased this Vox Mini3 G2 modeling amp to go with my new Mainland Tenor (acoustic/electric) ukulele. It was my first electric instrument and I immediately fell in love with the combination uke/amp.Having no previous experience whatsoever I really didn’t know what I should want in an amp. My new practice amp! Pretty much everything I need for playing by myself around the house. I was immediately surprised how much snap, punch and power this thing has. I absolutely love the Black 2 x 12 setting with a touch of delay and some tremolo hooked up to my Squier Duo-Sonic. I hate pedals. They’re annoying with the batteries and connectors not to mention they’re expensive and I always forget to unplug them so they go dead. The Vox three has it all right at your finger tips. Although I don’t like batteries…
