Love these sticks because they have thick grip yet are light weight and are excellent in light volume and jazz applications. Brian Blade uses this model and when I talked to him at one of his clinics he mentioned how he likes a thicker stick that is lightweight. I was never a fan of 7A stick that are often used in Jazz due to their thinner shape. I like to play both rock and jazz.
