The American Classic Series combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs for fuller sound, the Classics are turned from select hickory, a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Beefy and Reliable I use two different sticks when I play. Currently they are the Vater Fusion wood tip hickory model, and the Vic Firth 2B. To be honest, Vater sticks have been my go to sticks for quite some time, but I was looking for a heavier stick for slower and heavier tunes where you just want a little more wood impacting your drums and cymbals.The Vic Firth 2B’s are well balanced and work extremely well for music with rudimental passages.
