Trinity College AP-20 Diatonic 20-button Anglo Concertina
Trinity College Concertinas offer all the features and craftsmanship of the classic turn-of-the-century instruments but at moderate cost. These instruments are light weight, portable, easy to learn and fun to play. Trinity College Anglo Collection Concertinas feature a diatonic button system, which works much as a harmonica does. Each button produces two different pitches, one on the blow another on the draw. Though they can be played in other keys, they are mostly played in C or G. Harmony may be obtained by pushing more than one button at a time.

Do not buy this, this thing is a toy Do not buy this! I canât stress enough how poor quality this is.2 things happened within 15 minutes of playing this thing.1) reed got stuck (âeâ on right hand)2) upon trying to loosen and tighten screw around thumb grip, the screw and mount cane completely out of the concertina!!! Also extremely hard to even get a grip on in the first place. The sound is OK, but not really even close to an intermediate concertina. Do not buy this! Youâre probably better off…
Could not be more disappointed! I hate to give negative reviews but why, in the Sam Hill, didn’t I pay attention to the one review this item had? I thought it might be just a one-time fluke so, when the price dropped significantly, I rolled the dice and went for it. DON’T DO IT. You’ll be asking for a refund as soon as you open the box. Just as the first reviewer said, the moment I took it out of the box, a button stuck and cannot be reset. (Okay… as English concertinas go, you get what you pay for. I get that. But…
Good for the money but may need to return at least once… Considering there is literally no availability for buying a 30 key Anglo concertina for less than a grand outside of this one it is a good buy. I have ordered a replacement for it twice. The first one I received the fifth button on the “accidental” row of the left side did not play at all pulling or pushing. The second one had a bad key on the right side C row 5th key that played B when pulled but nothing when pushed. I am hoping the third version of this I get will be right. They…
