Very nice, very light, appears to offer a lot of protection. I am using this for an A-style. Everything fits. It is snug around the body – not tight, but no play (which is good.)The pads that squeeze the neck and body are pretty spongy, so they don’t put a lot of pressure on those parts (again that seems to be a good thing.)The padding is cut for an F-style, but it holds an Eastman A-style just fine.The heaviest part of the case is the nylon strap – but I plan on leaving that at home anyway.There is a…
The Perfect Stringed Instrument Case The perfect stringed instrument case IMHO. I have one for my violin, mandolin, and classical guitar (they don’t sell that one anymore). All my instruments fit as snug as a bug in a rug in these cases, and they double to insulate from cold and heat. This latter quality is nice when transporting the instrument in and out of your car on hot or cold days to lessons. A nice light case Ive had it for two months and it hasn’t left the house. Ive played guitar and bass for over 30 years so Iv’e seen a good number of cases. I wouldn’t throw this in the back of the van with all the other band’s equipment because its made of a type of hardened foam like Styrofoam but better, covered with an attached thin foam lined gig bag. There is plenty of protection and shock absorption, handles and a shoulder strap. A small locking mechanism clicks the case shut then there is a zipper that…
