TC Electronic BG250-208 Bass Combo Amplifier

Took me by surprise!

Loved the amp, hated the TC customer service This amp does it all. The sound is tight, yet can really carry the low end, especially on the lower B. The tone print feature adds so much more to this amp then just your normal combo would. Plus the speaker out (8 OHMS) enables for other extension cabinet configurations. I use it for practice and for small venues, but with the speaker out, its capable of pushing so much more power than you’d think. It took me by surprise for sure! I have to say I’m really saddened by my experience. I was very excited when I received the amp. Then, I tested it. Although it sounds good, and I love the head on it with the features and the size of the whole unit, it had a problem. The speakers made a loud, audible buzzing noise. It was not the guitar or cables. Trust me, I tested it with 3 amps. There was something wrong with the speakers. I sent a support ticket to TC Electronic and got no reply at all after more than 12 hours…
