Was good until it broke in less than a year Used it 2-3 times a week since I purchased this last fall. It’s great for on the fly tempo changes or changing the sound in general. But just a couple weeks ago the start/stop button broke, so now it doesn’t work at all. For $90 I’d expect this to last a lot longer. Tama’s website is horrible, as I have found no possible way to contact them about a repair or replacement since it’s been less than one year since purchase. Over price and lack of important feature for drummer
Ok, but lacks certain features expected from a metronome of this price. It lacks the ability to play many compound meters (eg. 7/8) or any clave patterns, which was not made particularly clear in the product descriptions. For the price, I would have thought that there would at least be a method for programming in non-symmetrical time signatures. A little disappointing in that regard. The speaker volume is good for practice pad or conga playing, but not quite loud enough to be heard over a kit, especially while wearing proper ear protection. Does NOT come with a…
