good value I have an Ibanez B200 and it’s very tedious to close the top with the banjo in the case. The padding around the resonator is very dense and I have to push the banjo down fairly firmly to get the instrument into the case. Trying to close the lid involves pushing in on the bottom part of the case so the the top will go over it and then latching that section. I took the foam out of the resonator portion as it’s only contact cemented in and cut it in half. After reinstalling the foam and…
Better that standard tolex Case is bulletproof, a very tight fit around the banjo, and plenty of padding, my only complaint is that it is very tough to close.At first I was worried that it was putting undue amounts of stress on the bridge, but from the impressions you would see, I can tell that it is not pressing on the bridge. It is pressing on the top outside edge of the body, which makes it very tough to close.Hopefully in time it will break in and become a better fit. It is made for a wide variety of…
