Superior cut some corners, but it’s probably still the best bang for your buck. The good: The dimensions appear to be accurate, and I think this case will protect the guitar nicely. The padding is a really stunning emerald color.The bad: The top of the case does not align easily with the bottom. This issue may fix itself: it’s possible that parts of the guitar are making it a bit difficult for the case to close, and as the padding forms to the guitar, it will develop a snug fit, but begin to align itself more easily when it’s being closed. A Tight Fit, But Rugged and Well Constructed I bought this case for a Deering Artisan Goodtime Special Open-Back 5-String with an 11″ pot. The banjo fit inside with no room to spare. In fact, I had to send back the first banjo strap I ordered because there wasn’t enough room in the case for it and the banjo. That’s how tight a fit we’re talking about here. Nice strong Tolex skin, great heavy stitching, and beautiful thick green plush lining to protect your precious banjo.
