Simple Operations are as follows:

HOW TO REPLACE NUT

STEP1 Remove the strings&Score the current nut with exacto knife

STEP2 Remove the current nut with hammer and screw driver & Clean the slot

STEP3 Size the new nut, polish it with 400-600 grit sand paper until suitable

STEP4 Restring and check the action gap

Restring the high and low E strings and tune to pitch to check for correct height.

STEP5 Sand back the nut to the perfect width

HOW TO REPLACE SADDLE

STEP1 Remove strings and old saddle 

STEP2 Fit the new saddle

Fit the new saddle into slot without forcing it. If it’s too thick, place a 240-400 grit sand paper on a flat surface and sand the sides of the saddle until it fits in the slot snugly but is easily removable that you can turn the guitar upside down without the saddle falling out.

STEP3 Adjust string height

Put your old saddle against the new one and align the tops. Using a pencil, mark a line along the bottom of your new saddle.

STEP4 Sand saddle to height

STEP5 Restring and determine correct string height 

By measuring the gap between the top of the 12th fret and the bottom of the low E string and tune to pitch to check for correct height.
