This Squier Jazz bass is a beautiful example of a Jazz bass. If I were to get a beginner bass in the lower price range, this would be the bass I would get. No question about it. High quality workmanship I purchased a natural finish “vintage modified Jazz Bass” from GC several years ago. The workmanship is quite good. Everything is tight, the bindings have no gaps the frets are straight and the edges perfectly smooth. It is perfectly quiet – no electronic noise even from the controls. I’ve been quite impressed with the instrument.I play directly into the amp without pedals and the range of tones available with the volume control for each pick up and the master tone control knob…
