Please note, that these drum dampeners are developed for dampening your drums in a refined way. These are designed to remove ring and over tones, and NOT ito completely muffle down your drums till it’s completely dead and almost silent. (You could do that, but you would need several packages of SlapKlatz for that).

As the drummer for my church. I need my toms to not ring out so much, since the hall I play in is smaller. It was easy to move the gel wherever I needed to on my toms, to get the “thud” I was looking for. The kit I use at home for practice is the Questlove Breakbeats, little 4 piece, with a 10 inch tom, and 14 inch floor tom. After tuning both toms where I like them, then adding the gels, I got the sound I want. It’s nice to not have that overtone. My toms sing, then die immediately…
