Your Dobro playing will be greatly enhanced. I really like this slide – it’s their new, solid stainless steel design. The sound is really different from chrome plate slides I’ve tried. However, I haven’t tried their older, chrome plated brass design, so I can’t compare it to that. However, I have used a Stevens slide quite a bit, and like this a lot in comparison. This steel slide is a wonderful evolution of the original slides most guitar player’s use. As one who has only played for a year with the Stevens and round bar slides, I found that my slide hand became cramped and/or the steel slides would slip out of position from sweaty hands.
