Decent, decent special purpose size, sharp fret ends. I got this because of the value it represented for me: a relatively inexpensive basis for a 17″ scale instrument that fits neatly into a tenor ukulele polyfoam case for low-risk/expense travel if it does not make the carry-on cut, somehow.. Tuned it at octave mandolin GDAE. Instrument seems pretty well constructed really, and no complaints except for the ubiquitously sharp fret ends.
