This set is absolutely terrific! Wow! This drum kit is awesome. I’m glad I suffered with the Alesis Strike Pro for 10 days until I finally gave up and returned it. The rack is better, the module is better, the cymbals are so much better. Did I mention the cymbals? I had to club those Strike cymbals like a baby seal to get a noise out of them and it sounded like hitting a cardboard box. The hi hat never did work right. Then the screen burned out. Endlessly configurable pro kit. .. except for the poor quality VH-11 hi-hat. Apart from the VH-11 hi- hat, this really is a professional grade kit with an amazing ability to fine tune almost everything in the kit. Keep in mind that you cannot load custom samples, but there is a wide array of professional grade samples of percussion and effects. Plus, the midi out allows you to trigger your own sampler.However, the hi-hat is so low quality that this kit is almost not worth buying.
