I really wanted to like this product…maybe I will try them again if they improve quality or if a competitor can do it better. I have purchased 3 sets and returned it each time hoping that maybe I simply received faulty products. My first set worked fine for about 1 day before 1 stick stopped working completely, I tried changing batteries with no fix. I returned them and purchased a different version that changes colors…same problem & once again tried changing batteries but did not even get a whole days worth of playing in. Purchased before & he loves them however, 3 Stars because . . . Purchased before and he loves them however, 3 stars because after just shy of 2 years of very moderate use he replaced batteries and ONE of the sticks did not function. BTW, expect to replace batteries often. Cost him around $5.00 per battery and each stick requires 3 batteries! Of course this malfunction occurred 1 day before a gig so he couldn’t use them.
