Replace strings BEFORE you play it!!! Or else… I didn’t expect this to be a high quality instrument, and it certainly isn’t. It goes out of tune constantly and the neck and fretboard are the same piece of wood. But, for $70 it’s worth it. However, make sure to IMMEDIATELY put a new set of strings on it. The strings that came on mine are filthy and the dirt (or oil or whatever it is) came off on my fingers and then rubbed onto the fretboard as I played it the first two hours.
