Replogle Reso REP-B95 Biscuit Resonator Cone – 9 1/2″

The Replogle Reso 9 1/2 Series biscuit-bridge style cone is hand spun in California to exacting specifications and high tolerances using a special hardened aluminum alloy for maximum strength, tone, projection and sustain. The smaller 9-½” biscuit-style cone diameter delivers the highs and “sustain” characteristic of the traditional Duolian dobro and national-style resophonic guitars. This is the “Original Equipment” (OEM) replacement cone for Dobros manufactured since the late 1960’s and all the way through the Gibson years. Until recently Replogle cones have only been available directly to custom builders and manufacturers- now, these “Original Equipment” (OEM) cones are available directly to individual players and builders around the world. The History. Mike Replogle learned the art of hand-spinning resonators directly from “the Old Man”, an old-school metal spinner that immigrated to the US and was the spinner-behind-the-scenes for nearly every resonator since the 1960’s. Replogle studied, practiced, and perfected his hand-spinning technique under the direct tutelage of the Old Man in his retirement, preserving the legacy of the authentic Dobro cones for future generations.
