An Industry Standard For Good Reason The Remo Power Stroke 3 bass drum batter is a widely used drum head in the drumming community, which is good testimony in itself. very versatile sound I had been running a clear emperor on my BD and the sound was just flat with out a lot of tone or body. The PS3 retains most of the volume but has really warmed up the sound. The BD is punchy, fat and as most of us do a strategically placed towel or pillow allows for any additional tweaking to dial in sustain for “your” sound. Mic’d up it sounds great, no longer just the leading edge of the note, the slap, but the meat and body are present. The BD integrates well with the rack and floor toms…
