Quality Keeps The Customer I purchased my first Remo drum heads around the same time Ronald Reagan was sworn into office. Consistent quality and an ever-expanding line of products has kept me a satisfied customer since then. One of only a couple of manufactures that can fill and ship special sizes quickly and at a reasonable price. I would have given 5 stars, but the ” clear ” Ambassador is actually a bit hazy. Just a personal preference to have absolutely clear heads and not anything that diminishes the product…
Great but Evans is better This head has great sound, and I was satisfied with the quality and price.After a couple weeks of moderate playing, the coating had already started to come off in the center, which doesn’t really bother me but I know some people don’t like it.Soon after I got this head, I bought an Evans UV1. The Ambassador is good, but the quality, durability, and sound of the UV1 far surpasses the Remo head.Bottom line: All hail Evans as the greatest drum head makers in the universe…
I’m not a drummer, I play guitar. And I’ve been a beatles fan since I was 3 or 4 years old, even have an old Fan Club card from 1964 or so. Since I’m a longtime letterer and sign man, one day I was looking at Ringo’s drums and thought “That would be cool to have hanging on the wall”. So I scanned a good picture and cleaned up the original lettering (which was loosely done by hand) so my re-creation wouldn’t be exact (but better, technically), and I altered the layout, which has the logo too…
