A little bit of droop, but can totally be compensated for. Fully content with my purchase! I shopped around for about a week before deciding on this unit for my Blue Yeti Blackout, DragonPad Pop Filter, and Blue Radius II Shock Mount, and I’m glad I decided on it.Because of all the weight of the attachments (and a heavy microphone to boot), I was concerned that I would experience drooping, or that there simply wouldn’t be enough leverage and resistance to hold the setup in place. I was right, however, the drooping isn’t too significant to be a problem (especially once…
Close but could be better The pivot tension screw at the end where the microphone is suspended has trouble generating enough tension to hold the mic where you want it. The threaded black plastic piece that screws into the bottom of the Yeti appears to be an adaptor to fit a larger aperature female mount on the mic. The threads and the piece overall are cheap plastic that was rendered useless almost immediately, and I was gentle with it. The metal, smaller diameter threaded piece underneath the plastic one is much better. Thankfully, the Yeti accepts both.2.) The Yeti and Radius II…
