Goodbye wood, Hello Rubber! I must own dozens of pairs of sticks. But I just purchased an electronic drum kit which has black rubber pads instead of normal skins used on a normal acoustic drum. I had noticed while searching for an electronic kit that the black rubber showed a great deal of the effect of the striking of them.
