Buy the Solid Black only! I never really had an issue with dropped sticks, but when a drummer left a pair behind with Stick Rapp on them, I was instantly hooked. Especially when newly applied, this wrapping creates a super tacky and cushioned grip. You almost have to shake the sticks out of your hand to let go of them. The tackiness weakens over time, but I find an application is good for months of 2 to 3 night-a-week usage before requiring replacement.
