Best feeling sticks! I’ve been a Promark user most of my drumming career, mainly wood tip and preferring the oak models….until these came out. These sticks are hickory, however since they are tempered, they last a bit longer than traditional hickory although not as long as oak, however the feel of holding these sticks has been the best out of any stick I have every played with. Not abnormally durable Two reasons people want to buy these: durability and looks, are not enough. They look different than your average hickory stick with their scorched treatment, so itâs a matter of taste if that looks good to you. Durability wise, for regular playing they barely lasted longer than most other wood tip sticks Iâve used. After about a month, one of tips was chipped.
