The Pignose Legendary 7-100 Portable Amp is their original portable practice amp, complete with pig-snout on/off switch and volume control. The case opens for easy access to the amplifier’s speaker and other insides. You can even have a friend fan the case open and closed for a wah-wah effect! The Legendary Pignose Amp also offers a preamp out jack for plugging those classic distortion sounds into an external power amp, PA, or recording console. This little Pignose is a quality-built amp with metal corner protectors, tough covering, and a rugged 6″ speaker. Great sound from a little amp I play harmonica and have a couple different mics. When I play at church I generally use a Fireball, which has an XLR connector so I hook straight into the sound system. I’ve also got a green bullet (shure) that has a 1/4″ line. I’ve been playing it over a line 6 amp but lugging that to church doesn’t work for me. Love it. For less than a hundred bucks (okay, a hundred if you buy the ac adapter plug) I’m shocked at the sound and power this little amp has! If you want a super clean, smooth sound you won’t like it much. But if you want a little bit of distortion built in with the capability of running a line out to a mixer for more power, it’s one fun piece of gear. I tried it with an Epiphone Hummingbird Pro and the acoustic sound was solid. I ran a Guild 12 String jumbo through it and it held the tone nicely…
