PDP By DW 400 Series Double Pedal
PDP hardware is designed by industry leader Drum Workshop, a company who has been solving hardware problems since 1972. The 400 Series Double Pedal offers drummers an amazing value without breaking the bank. The DP402 has sleek, racing-inspired pedalboards and features a single chain offset cam on each side. The 400/500 series linkage gives players a responsive feel usually found on much more expensive pedals. The 2-way beaters, built-in spurs, key-side-adjust hoop clamp, standard spring tension adjustment, steel auxiliary pedal plate and built-in drum key clip make this pedal easy to dial in to your own personal playing style. The DP402 is also available in a lefty version (PDDP402L).

Great for Rock and Slower Tempos… Wait why are you getting a double pedal for slower tempos? So far starters, I am semi old school, but what I mean by that, is essentially Dark Funeral, Old Man’s Child, old Cryptopsy, etc, these are my playing styles. I’ve been using a DW 7000 double pedal for a long while now (double chain driven) and at the time of buying it thought for the price, was about middle of the road. There is something wrong with the PDP design. I have sat behind other kits with an axis, or a speed cobra(i understand that these are more priced than this model, however my…
Nice pedals !! For 200 bucks I don’t feel it’s right to sit and nit pick this pedal. $200=5stars . It’s built well, the range of adjustments are fine for the basic needs of the average player. It’s got one single chain but doesn’t feel cheap and weak. It works and I haven’t had any problems with it.. some food for thought. I wear a size 12 shoe and I’m not really able to do the heel to toe double hit cause the pedal is just too short for my heel to touch.. But whatever you still get good speed from it. I’d…
Pedals look great and feel sturdy but are disappointing to use Preface: before purchasing these pedals I was using Gibraltars direct drive Intruder pedals for the past 3 years.I bought these thinking they would at least be a lateral step and due to the quality looking build; sleek minimalist design. I thought the elongated foot boards would really fit my niche for double bass drumming as I play “heel-up” but sadly these pedals failed to impress.I play in a heavy metal/deathcore band where frequent use of steady and fast…
