Worth the price I bought this amp as a lighter alternative to my Ampeg PF500 w/ 115HE. Altogether, that amp is around 65 lbs, and this is is less than half that.First things first — no, this amp does not have the lows that the Ampeg rig does. But even at 50 Wats, this little thing kicks up some serious volume. I used it Friday night at a gig in Washington DC. The BEST bass combo amp I’ve ever used If you’re looking for something with a bit of power to it but you’re NOT willing to invest in a full-on head-and-cabinet rig typically only needed for touring, this is pretty much the middle ground between the best practice amps and the somewhat lower end of gigging amps.
