NOW I’m MAD ! NOW I’m MAD – I purchased 5 Ukeleles from Amazon recently, a HILO, KALA, HOLA, ENYA, and a DONNER.The DONNER, being one of the cheapest is the only one with good intonation (is chromatically in tune all the way up to the 12th fret).ALL the others are so bad, they are virtually unplayable to a musicians ear without modifcations.IF DONNER can do it, WHY can’t the others, especially when they are more expensive ?The craftsmanship on most of these UKES are excellent…
An excellent value I am “new” to the Ukulele but have over 40 years of experience with acoustic and electric guitars ranging from high end to bargain basement in quality. The build quality on the EUT-70 is top notch. I have literally zero complaints – no sharp fret ends, no messy glue globs, the finish is nice and even – the tuners are OK, and the setup is fine. This is quality work This product would have received a five star from me but the capo broke after two uses and the electronic tuner was not operable. I will say that I was very impressed on how the company took pride in their brand. I wish I videoed the unboxing. Everything had their brand name on it.
