Not bad, as good as an Amplug in my opinion I bought a couple of VOX Amplugs about a year ago, the AC30 and Classic Rock models. Within 4-5 months both of them had given out. I wanted another headphone amp, but I didn’t want to pay Amplug money (about $35) for something I was pretty sure wouldn’t last 6 months. So I bought this cheaper model, for about half the cost. Good cleans, the Gain OD is more buzz than crunch. Good earphone amp, for the money- it gets buzzy hissy & hummy when the gain is cranked. It’s more a toy than a tool. I use single coil pickups (strat & P90 style) on my guitars. AAA battery makes it easy to use rechargables. Shape is clumsy with guitars that have the jack mounted on the lower bout/edge.
