Get this amp. Maybe my ear has gotten better, because I don’t remember line 6 being this bad. Where to begin? The fact the heavy distortions sound muddy, as if you turned your tone control all the way down, or the fact when I plug either of my pedals in (Boss Metal zone/Line 6 Uber metal), it sounds as if the high end is blowing the speakers, giving them a high pitched, almost popping, feedback effect. This amp is defiantly a keeper. wonderful sound out of a solid state amp. i could go on and on about how amazing it is but youll find that out on your own if you get the amp so instead ill start with the cons. there’s not a lot but some worth knowing.first, this amp is pretty hefty. You need a foot pedal to use all this amps features. The foot pedal connects to you computer and the amp. (My son added the FBV-Express MK-II.) With the foot pedal you can download software that allows you to use and edit sound effects. It has lots of band presets–download manual for details.It sounds crazy good compared to the others we looked at but maybe too good at being loud in an apartment.
