This is a very nice, and sturdy, drum pad for the price.It’s heavier than it seems, but I like that.I love the fact that there are two, (three for me, because I also use the padding on the bottom), distinct surfaces to play on.I brought this pad because I needed something for the lessons that I give at a middle school, but I have not had the chance to use it among my students yet., so the jury is still out on how well it will hold up in “real world” situations, ie…
