The way the cable feels, feels nice.
You get what you pay for! I have MANY Monoprice cables in my studio; MIDI, mic/XLR and am planning on purchasing many more in the future (as I need them). These MIDI cables worked perfectly, right out of the box, where the MIDI cables I previously purchased (from a different manufacturer) did NOT work at all. These Monoprice cables were actually cheaper than the ones I bought that did NOT work. Go figure.And yes, I learned my lesson and will ONLY buy Monoprice cables in the future. They are also THE best…
Low low price but cheaply made. Connector ends of midi cable were “stamped metal” as opposed to “cast metal” and were oblong as opposed to round. This would undoubtedly stress and deform mating connectors on expensive music studio recording gear! The pins were “rolled tin” (hollow) on the MonoPrice as opposed to solid pins on the CBI connectors made in USA (Neutrik/REAN). Returning MonoPrice and have already received the CBI cables (USA) instead which were only a few…
