Poor velocity control, acceptable for price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this controller’s interface. The knobs and sliders felt quite nice, especially the mod and pitch wheels. That said, I unfortunately can’t say the same for the keys and drum pads. The keys felt very squishy and had remarkably poor velocity recognition, even after fiddling with the built-in velocity curves. No matter what I tried, the keys refused to recognize lighter keystrokes at all, and stronger hits tended to spike to a very high volume. The pads…
