MIDI Breakout Board
The MIDI Breakout board is an easy way to connect a hardware MIDI device to an Arduino, microcontroller, or embedded computer. The kit comes with a choice of a 4-pin male or female header which provides an optically isolated MIDI I/O signal and power. There are mounting also holes in the PCB for a more permanent installation. An example Arduino sketch is available which will get you up and running quickly.
