Just perfect for family use I don’t know what I would say is wrong with it (except the cymbals are garbage). I got it as a “present” for my nine-year-old son, but honestly Christmas was an excuse for me to finally have a drum set. Yes, had to look online for a video about how to assemble it, which took about two hours, but that was fine because it’s the 21st century and was far easier than if I’d had to follow written directions anyway.Sound is good, the toms have a real musical quality about them. Ok, wow, a lot of drum set for not much money – you can’t go wrong! Wow, I really love this set! I was seriously impressed with the quality of each piece as I unpacked it. The instructions were a little iffy, but, I got through it. Chain Drive bass and hat pedals, top and bottom heads for each drum, sturdy drum stool, wooden drum frames, black trim (I got the green sparkle), but, the cymbals are not the best quality.
