Wow amazing sound for the price! I agree with most of the reviews. I had my Zildjian’s Zbt’s 14″ hi hats on my Ludwig drum set for jazz playing, then my Sabian’s 14″ hi hats on my Pearl drum set for heavy rockin, but just not crisp enough. But I read up on these HCS hi hats and was skeptical still? But purchased them anyways. For the price I could not believe the sound these cymbals were producing! Amazed and now a believer! Run, don’t walk to buy these cymbals! I replaced a budget set of Sabian B8’s with these based on reviews I saw on other retailer’s sites. I’m so glad I did. These hats give me that crisp open hi hat sound that I wanted & a dynamic closed hat sound. I play soul, r&b, fusion, gospel & pop and these hi hats give me exactly what I need for those styles.
