As always Martin comes through with quality Not crazy about these strings when first put on. But once they mellow (3-7 days) they’re as good as they get for my tastes. I have three guitars with very good tonewood and I don’t want my strings to interfere with the production of sound of which my guitar’s capable by being overly bright and metallic. If you want folks to focus on your guitar’s sound and nothing else, these strings are for you. Everyone’s needs are different, these strings are not just Clapton’s choice, they’re mine too…
